Bal and I first met in a business environment and immediately his honesty and integrity shone through. Underneath lay his core kindness, and over the years so many of us were honored to call him friend. He made a difference in our world, and we will mourn him.
What a gentleman and loving person!
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Our condolences to the Sethi family.

Our heartfelt condolences to the entire family, may he rest in peace.
I love the story Dad has told us about meeting Sethi uncle and aunty at the immigration office and the wonderful friendship that has stayed so strong since. We will miss uncle and the kind friendship he has shared with our family – through the happy times, the difficult times, the ‘fancy’ formal times, and the sweet informal times shared around the kitchen table.
A big hug to Lalita aunty, Shelly, Raji, and the whole family.
Love from the Wadhwa family. (Sat Uncle, Sanji, Chris, Akash, Sonali, Anu, Sanjay, Mala, and Chetna).
Please accept my deepest condolences. I will cherish the memories I have working with Bal (Chile, dim sum, etc). He taught me a lot. I am so sorry for your loss.

You were always a special uncle to me. You were my dad’s brother in all aspects of our family life. I remember so many gatherings and parties in which you and Aunti were so much fun and full of life. I especially remember in my teenage and early adult years when my life’s path seemed so unclear, you would sit down with me and ask what I was doing. It meant so much to me that as I described events you simply nodded in agreement and acceptance. That affirmation was dear to me.
I will miss you so much. Words can’t express my joy and memories of happy times with you and Aunti. You will always be my special uncle.
Dear Uncle,
You were truly a gentle man, kind and humble. You were always dressed to the nines. Your goat meat dish was amazing as was your daal! You always honoured me by coming to my house, even when illness was overwhelming.
You were a fighter; you fought so hard for these last few years. Sadly you had to depart, and although our hearts ache with your leaving, we are comforted that you are at peace and no longer suffering.
I know your friend and brother Om Prakash was waiting for you on the other side. I’m sure he gave you a great big bear hug and the two of you are now enjoying a 25 year old bottle of fine Scotch together.
Rest in peace uncle. We will all miss you very much.
Love Navin
My deepest condolence to all of you. Almost 60 years ago we first met as students at the Oskar von Miller
Polytechnikum in Munich, Germany. Many years later we met again in Germany on the occasion of our
student anniversaries. I will always remember him as a very good friend and colleague being of good
mood and helpfull. With his good sense of humour we enjoyed our time in Munich.
Actually from 1967 – 1970 I was living not so far away from your place,i.e. in Cooksvill near Missisauga
working for the Abitibi Paper Company. Love Dieter
Such a kind and gentle soul. Rest In Peace Bal.
Lalita, Ed and myself would like to express our sadness to hear that you lost Bal last month. We remember Bal as a kind, gentle man who would be an important member of your family. We know it is a difficult time for your family – focus on all the wonderful times you had with him and that sometimes eases our pain as you hold them near and dear. Stay strong!!
