  3. Donald and I lost touch with each other when he moved away from Toronto, but his name always came up with affection in my conversations with other Naps friends. Our families, his and mine, knew each other since the early 1960’s. I still remember his hearty laughter and his partying spirit. As I read his obituary, it gives me pleasure to know that he seems to have had a life of fulfilment to the end. Goodbye, my friend – you added something special to my life.

  6. We must now allow the dynamic impressions that Donald left us to help us do what he would want. Dry our tears “Love selflessly” and go on with our lives.
Heaven is indeed a much better place now that it will forever be graced with his presence.

  17. We were at NC together, but only really got to know Donald in Montreal in the sixties, when along with his brothers Howard and Allen, and many others, we were all students together. Always helpful and cheerful, and never changed over the years. R.I.P.

  34. The passing of Donald was such a shock. He was such a lively and robust person. He had an infectious ‘love of life’ that washed over those who were around him. I first met him at Naps in 1956 and we remained friends since that time. R I P Dear Brother
