  13. Hi my name is Melissa and I’m one of Bhagwanties grandkids.

On Friday February 19th, we lost the matriarch of our family.

I’m not sure how you did it Grandma, but you raised 10 amazing kids on your own, plus most of your grandkids, myself included, and anyone who needed help you welcomed them with open arms.

Grandma was the type of person who always liked to keep busy. She went for walks every single day and she was very independent.

Gramz I’m gonna miss galavanting with you. I always looked forward to taking you out, because I knew afterwards we would go get food😅
This lady proper liked her fried chicken and fries 😁
She liked to go to Popeyes, KFC, McDonald’s and even Calypso Hut for some Banga Mary.
My Dad, James, was actually the one who used to take Grandma out wherever she needed to go, until somehow, I guess when I got my license, it got passed down to me.
Oh and they had those lunch dates too. Yeah sorry Dad, I cut your share 😜

After when I would drop her home she would ask me to come inside and lime a little bit, but after all the food we ate she always ended up saying “come lie down nah man leh we tek a nap” the itis was real😴

Grams, I’m really blessed my daughter Nevaeh had the chance to spend a good amount of time with you. It was pretty cute seeing them getting their daily steps in with Grandma and her walker. They even took naps together.

Anyways, anywhere she wanted to go I would take her, and no matter where we went, she started a conversation with anyone who crossed her path… passing out her Jehovah witness tracks.
She made everyone smile and I felt so grateful to be by her side while they all whispered to me saying how cute she was.

I wanted to share a memory I had when we were younger. When Grandma was watching my brother, Nick, and he was behaving bad, picture this…
Grandma tied a rope to her waist and then tied the other end onto Nick, so he only had a certain amount of leeway to run about. He would try and pull Grandma with all his strength. It was pretty hilarious.

Grandma, you built this family that we are so blessed to have and proud to be a part of. We’ll never be the same without you, but we will forever carry a piece of you with us always.

    Thank you Grandma, for everything.
You fought so hard to be with us for as long as you could.
No more pain, no more suffering.

    May you rest in Paradise.

    We love you Gramz! 🙏🏽♥️
