  2. Jasbir, thank you for your gift of humour, kindness and fun. I am going to miss you so much. My condolences to your family and friends, you were one in a million buddy, you left us way too soon. Thank you Jasbir for always making me feel welcome, dragging me around Seattle in search of poker parties or to Kells to have another bevvy. Making sure I felt included on our team, making me laugh and setting me straight a few times, when I needed to hear an honest perspective,

Life at Microsoft in Canada was brighter with you in it, see you on the other side buddy. May your family receive so much love and comfort during this difficult time

  16. Jasbir, a very passionate soul with the ability to give his opinions in a straight forward manner, but still feel kind and honest. You would always call out things that people only thought. Loved watching you take on life’s challenges. Will miss you. Your logic was always principle based and very clear. The bright eyes and big smile when you figured out something new was a joy for me to witness. You took care of your family and knew what was important. The blend of the Punjabi boy and the Western Reggae man were unique and powerful. Full of empathy and full of courage. I can’t imagine the void that will be there for your daughter and loved ones. At least she can take some comfort that you were as impressive in appearance as you were in your heart. I will deeply miss you my little brother.

  28. My sincere condolences to Jabir’s Family and Friends. While his life was cut short his time here was so impactful to me personally and those around him. I learned so much from him through laughter that my gut still hurts thinking about it. Not to say he was all jokes but he certainly brighten a room and took out any tension. I feel so fortunate having talked to him just last week about his next professional chapter in life. He ended our conversation by saying “you will always be known as pizza boy to me” an inside joke and a cherished memory I will have with me always. We will miss him always. RIP my friend!

  34. Jasbir was many things to many people. He was extremely intelligent at assessing a situation, work or personal, and finding the right recipe. He had an unbelievable gift to translate the most complex topics into simple sound bytes. He was a teacher to everyone that he worked alongside. In a testament to his gift of passion, humour and technical wonderment, I have received many responses from Jasbir’s customers that highlighted how he touched them as well. I will never forget James, Jasbir and I’s moment of truth at the 2014 World Partner Conference. So many memories, so many emotions, and such a great loss at his prime. My heart goes out to Jasbir’s family, friends and his entire world ecosystem. What a smile, what a laugh, what a guy! He will never be forgotten.

  35. I got to know Jasbir, at least a little bit, on a project we worked on, and travelled back and forth to, in New Jersey. He was always positive, always insightful, always wanting the best for the team and the people we worked with, and always ready with a laugh or encouraging word. It wasn’t always easy being away from home, especially when the Raptors were in the playoffs. I remember watching one of those games on the roof of a restaurant with Jasbir and David, and before long Jas was introducing everyone around us to each other. He was genuinely interested in people, curious about who they were, and seemed to find common ground everywhere he went. It was a wonderful thing to see and be a part of. He was a truly special person and I know we are all better people for knowing him. To all of his family, friends, and colleagues, please accept my deepest condolences.

  38. Our friend always made every effort to welcome, include, and unify the people around him. A gentleman helping people to feel safe, accepted, supported, and important. He’s loving, empathetic, conscious, emotionally grounded, and kind with an intuitive vibe that he shared and embraced.

He always greeted with a handshake, a smile, and a conversation, extending countless opportunities to share meals, movies, performances, and social invites. Such a respected social butterfly who connected so many mutual genuine friendships.
We’ve all learned to be happier, more sociable, understanding, compassionate, and overall better humans because of knowing him.

What he gave us will live on with every new encounter of the day when we embody this style of living that we shared with Jasbir and that he was such an example of.

Personally, any time in meeting someone new or when greeting a friend or colleague, I’m shaking their hand with a genuine desire to help, a non-judgmental, unconditionally loving, unity conscious, open-heartedness, which was lived by and exemplified by this inspiring, well-dressed, “Yup he’s gotta be a Rudeboy”, energetic force of a man Jasbir G. Thank you for lighting up our lives.

  51. Jasbir, I will miss your slightly warped sense of humour, your guilty smile, your persistent questions, and your kind heart. We shared many thoughts, ideas, laughs, and adventurous outings in Seattle, however you were always there when called upon. I will miss running into you at the strangest of places and often under the strangest of situations. You left us too soon my friend.
