  3. Ted has been my longtime friend since high school days, and our involvement during the early years of the Youth for Christ movement in Trinidad. Our friendship continued over the past decades since we both migrated and settled in Canada. It was always a joy to get together on many occasions to reflect and reminisce on earlier years.

Throughout all the latter years of his health struggles and challenges, he continued working and always expressed his faith in the Almighty’s grace and care for him. He personified positivity through words and actions, and right to the end lived his life with thankful optimism.
Ted will forever remain in our hearts and memories, and will be greatly missed.

  4. I last saw Ted in Trinidad in March 2020 and, as we say, our association goes way back. We were childhood friends growing up together in Woodbrook. I was a member of the church where his father was the pastor and we were both active in the Youth for Christ ministry for many, many years. We had a lot of lively times together.
I will remember Ted as a gentle, easygoing soul whose faith in God was steadfast until the end.
So long brother, until we meet again.

May God be with you all at this time of your loss.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God. (2 Cor 1:3 & 4)

My sincere condolences to his family, especially to his friends Yasmina Hamid and Margaret Williams who have been so supportive of him, his friends in his Lodge community, and, all his friends. 9. Teddy was an exemplar to those of us who were at QRC in the 60s. We looked up to him, and Arnim along with Brendan B, as guys we wished to be when we got older. Indeed, YFC was a formative influence for us all.

Teddy was an optimistic soul and never stopped trying. I am happy that he never gave up. I am grateful that he made his peace with God.

May his family find comfort in his home going. No more pain, no more suffering.

  17. To the bereaved family of Teddy; We were friends for years at Woodbrook P C. where we took part in most church activities. We used to hang out
at his parents home where his dad Pa Ryan invented the game called crockonol, which we played in the living room of the family’s home. I remember
our days at Claxton Bay, going with him to fetch the newly weds, and being the best man in his wedding in Canada. I will always remember him. Be
encouraged family and may The God of all comfort comfort you all. Blessings Alvin (Olvin) Forde.
